Rouhani-Putin and Erdoghan meeting

The Presidents of Iran, Russia and Turkey met in Ankara to discuss the conflict in Syria and the global response to the Syrian conflict. The three leders also examined a collective response to the terrorist groups still active in Syria. Dr. Rouhani said in a press conference at the end of summit " The day Syria's war is over, terrorists have left the region, Syrian refugees are back in their homes and Syrian people can determine their future in a free  election, is a great day of celebration for the entire region". The meeting is part of Astana process which started last year in Sochi and will hold its next gathering in Tehran.

"From the point of view of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Syrian conflict has no military solution and needs to be solved through political means"
