Visiting Foreign Minister of Pakistan Sartaj Aziz called for enhanced regional cooperation for countering acts of terror referring to latest terrorist attacks in his country.
In a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday, Sartaj Aziz expressed pleasure over his renewed visit to Tehran and meeting with Zrif as well as other Iranian high-ranking officials.
He also appreciated Iran for expressing solidarity over recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan which occurred on Tuesday.
At least six people were killed and more than 20 others injured as a local court in north western city of Charsadda was hit by suicide attacks.
Pakistan has adopted anti-terror measures to counter terrorist attacks, he said.
Expressing Islamabads support to accelerate mutual cooperation in the economic projects, the Pakistani official said that the country is trying to give an impetus to the implementation of the projects.
Meanwhile, Zarif referred to the recent terror acts in the country which killed and injured a large number of innocent civilians and condemned terrorist acts.
